October, 10 2014: The Defence, Army, Navy and Air Force Foreign Attachés of sixteen (16) countries, including USA, Great Britain, Germany, France, China, Russia which are accredited to Greece, accompanied by staff officers of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff of the three branches of the Hellenic Armed Forces, visited Hellenic Defence Systems’ Headquarters and Ammunition Plant at Lavrion, Attica, Greece.

The Foreign Diplomats were hosted by the President of the BoD John Demiris, the C.E.O. Sotiris Christogiannis and top ranking executives of the company.

During the visit, the Foreign Delegation was taken a tour of the exhibition of HDS’ products and was briefed on the main activities and capabilities of the Greek Defence Industry.

The agenda also included ballistic tests on the firing range at Lavrio plant.

The visit ended with exchange of souvenirs between the Administration and the Head of the Defence Attaché Association, Defence Attaché of Great Britain in Greece, Colonel Anthony Morphet GBR (A).
